i feel as if i've gone though a long process of just learning to shoot and edit, and now i need to stop and think. i need to figure out what to do with what i've learned, if anything.
so i'm thinking.
ted forbes helps me think. he's got a great vlog which covers all sorts of facets of photography -- from the art to technical issues.
his heart's in it.
he had a bad time recently, as he lost a dearly-loved pet, a cat named finley, and his second-to-most-recent video was about his loss. and then there was music. ted's a photographer, and a musician.
so i wasn't paying too much attention when he started playing his guitar, but i left it on and moved on to other windows. after a bit, i realized that i was loving what i was subliminally hearing and i listened more carefully.
there was ted, playing, with heart.
i downloaded the video. i grabbed the music into an mp3, and then i started wondering how i'd feel if i saw my pictures coupled with the track. so i made this video. this is first and foremost about his haunting track.
i set it to unlisted and shared it with ted. ted wants me to share it with you.
so here it is.
thanks, ted.
