as i prepared to get away for a short weekend at milos island a couple of weeks ago, i knew i'd have only one golden hour to shoot (as i successfully predicted that i'd prefer some extra sleep over the sunrise).
i had a circular polarizing filter for an older zoom lens, but it was too small for the wide-angle lens i use these days... so i bought a 77mm version to perhaps get some shots while the day was still brighter.
milos has wonderful crystalline seas... among the clearest i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot).
i didn't get the one shot i originally envisaged, but a few look decent.
