new photo blog

i started this blog in 2006, and it's shifted along with my interests through the years. it's been witness to a lot of learning for me...

still, i feel that i need a home for my photography -- so from now on, i'll be posting my pictures on the journal on my reworked website. if you like my photos, you might decide to follow me there!

my first post is here -- check it out!

as for this blog, i'm not sure what will happen. i don't think i'm willing to let it go, and certainly i'll keep it as an archive, but i need some time to figure it out.

for those of you that pop in from time to time, thanks for the visits and encouragement.

30 years ago today

a young woman of 18 approached athens by plane and peered out the window:

her heart sank and it has yet to resurface.

  1. My 30 year anniversary is coming up in Sept. Reverse trip, Athens to NY.

No regrets. Just that time went by quicker than I'd have liked.

  2. WOW, very beautiful!! Why not in Flickr? Love the lights, natural and artificial. It seems to me that was at sunrise. Perhaps because your vivid young emotion and your hope in future then are present in the photo.

"May the Force be with you" ;)

  3. @pedro

this was on flickr in the past:
    i've since reprocessed it.

'no regrets' of course not... yours is the reverse trip, you see.

  4. Thanks for the link. Nice photo really. Have a great weekend!
