Since they went into the trouble of surrounding the building with water, they really should have thrown in a few crocodiles. It would have been easy, and it would have made things so much more interesting!

Well, okay, I'd settle for piranhas.

As per usual, great shots. What camera are you using? I'm in the market for one to replace my Olympus Camedia bought in 2003/4. Any suggestions? I'm looking for one that's small enough for me to carry (not a pocket model though), because the best camera in the world is useless if it stays home...

Also, what program do you use to make those "slides" where you focus in/out of a picture?

thanks

andros, i use a canon 350d (known as the rebel in the u.s.) and a sigma 18-200mm 1:3.5-6.3 lens which is a flexible-all around lens. i chose this camera because it's a full DSLR but it's slightly more compact than most (at least, when i bought it a couple of years ago).

if i find i have enough dedication to keep taking pictures, i'll be upgrading both camera and lenses in the fall.

if i can't have it with me (rarely), i carry a canon powershot TX1 which is versatile, takes great little AVIs but doesn't save RAW.

this slideshow is just pictures from flickr but if you mean the videos i've uploaded to youtube, i've used the simple and free moviemaker, included with windows, which, admittedly, has more features and effects on my vista.

"On my vista?" Please translate?

When i see photos like this, i feel like giving up my cameras. I just can't even aspire to be that good. But if you ever feel like photographing the male form, sign me up. But hurry, gravity is waging a daily assault on me.

That greek guy is right. You could be a pro photog.
