the RDF just announced the launch of the OUT campaign in an effort for atheists to openly declare their status. the scarlet letter logo is quite nice -- i've added it to my sidebar -- and the t-shirts and stickers reinforce support.
i'd like a coffee mug or keychain myself.
in any case, it's high time to get rid of the closet.

i'm 'out' to everyone who knows me on a personal or friendly basis family/partner, friends and colleagues. have always been.
ReplyDeleteexcept for one long-distance friend, none of the adults are, as far as i know, atheists.
i guess i'm lucky in that i've never had to go through this process. i can hardly imagine how difficult it must be.
