a call to arms

this is an amazing video to see, five years later, of an eloquent talk by richard dawkins. it seems that many arguments and motifs are familiar now but the laughter suggests that then, they were less so. i feel that deliberate efforts have resulted in a great deal of progress these past few years. what sometimes feels like stagnation, is actually a very swift crawl!

(plus, dawkins is a regular comedian...)
